Blurb: Black Landscape Sketchbook

I worked in this book from November 2022 to September 2023, encompassing almost all of my first year as an Illustration student, as well as the following summer. From Module 2 onwards, this was the only sketchbook I worked in, and I worked in a loosely linear fashion - mostly just focusing on a single page until I felt it was full enough to move on. I tried to not be too precious about what I drew/wrote in this book, which is something I sometimes struggle with.

I do have a bit of inhibition towards just drawing anything in a book specifically designed to be a sketchbook - I sometimes worry about wasting pages on quick scribbles. That's why I use the brown lined pad - I feel less guilty about doing that sort of thing on paper designed for writing. Still, a dedicated drawing book has its uses, so that's this.
